Description

Parasitic wasps lay their eggs in the pupae of pest flies. The hatched maggots feed on the fly pupa, interrupting the pest fly cycle. After 3 to 4 weeks, new parasitic wasps emerge from these pupae. At only 2-3 mm in size, they are not noticeably present.

Characteristics

  • Species : Muscidifurax raptorellus.
  • Packaging : Small tube with 15,000 parasitic wasps;
  • Optional Larger Packaging : Optional large tube with 150,000 parasitic wasps is available. Please contact us for this.
  • Scope of application : Suitable for various livestock farming types, including cattle, goats, sheep, horses and poultry. For use in slurry systems for pigs and calves, you can view our Predator Fly .
  • Time of use : From March to September, at least every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the animal type.

At least every 4 weeks Sprinkle the contents on dry places where there are many flies. The areas may not be walked on by livestock. This will usually be along the walls and in corners.

At least every 4 weeks Sprinkle the contents on dry places where there are many flies. The areas may not be walked on by livestock. This will usually be along the walls and in corners.
Horses

1 small tube per 10 horses

At least every 4 weeks Sprinkle the contents on dry places where there are many flies. The areas may not be walked on by livestock. This will usually be along the walls and in corners.
Poultry

1 small tube per 4000 chickens

1 large tube per 40,000 chickens

At least every 2 weeks Sprinkle through grates in places inaccessible to chickens.
